Here is a picture from yesterday in Venice California. Filming for my first solo music video for the song “Jealous Lover”. The music video will be released on Jan 1st with a Free Online Album. The mixtape will be available free for about a month then if you want to get it after that you got to pick it up on I-tunes! I will keep you posted where to watch the video and where to get the album at online. Thanks to all my fans that have been with me and supported me this long. I am excited to see Ashland High grow and for you people to hear the music. I have really put my heart and soul into this project and I hope you all enjoy it. About Me
Southern Made Hollywood Paid was started by me, Trace Cyrus, in 2009. Most of you know me from the band Metro Station. I grew up in the south in a town outside of Nashville, Tennessee. I love it there and will always consider Tennessee my real home. I moved to California at the age 16.The south is where I grew up and California is where my life really took off. Hollywood is where I met my band, started playing shows, and by the age of 17 was getting a record deal and a chance to tour the world. Music is my true passion in life and Hollywood really gave me the opportunity to meet the right people and let me live out my dreams.
Also, one of the things I love in life is art. That's one reason my entire body is covered in tattoos. I've always been into fashion and thought it would be amazing to have a clothing line - just never thought I would have a chance to do something like that.
Once I finally had the opportunity to have one of my own I really wanted the name of it to represent me. That is why I decided on Southern Made Hollywood Paid. I feel it tells a lot about me, my life, and my story. I love any way to express myself in life, and that's why I started SMHP. I also recently started Ashland High and am excited to release my first solo album.
